Quality Consultants
Industrial Hygienist - United States

Conduct chemical and physical industrial hygiene surveys in a variety of manufacturing, industrial and administrative settings; Conduct field sampling using various types of sampling devices, sampling media and direct-reading instruments;  Calibrate the devices and instruments; Conduct IEQ assessments;   Write accurate, consise reports for the assessments, investigations and surveys identified above;  Turn in reports that meet quality and turn around time objectives with minimal supervision; Work seamlessly with clients, staff, and our laboratories in scheduling projects and establishing deadlines; Assist with business development, including proposal preparation;Perform other duties related to the position as assigned;

 

Requirements:

Willingness and ambition to become trained in other aspects of our business as required (for example the candidate may need to be trained to conduct microbiological or asbestos inspections or be trained in environmental or safety compliance or auditing);

  • Ability to communicate well verbally with all levels of our and client organization(s), from the employee level to the executive level;

  • Ability to travel up to 75% including overnight travel; 

  • Ability to work in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments which will include commercial buildings and manufacturing facilities;   

  • Abiity to be exposed to inclement weather such as hot, cold, and wet conditions;

 

The consultant may be exposed to hazardous substances and /or air pollution and be required to wear personal protective equipment and respiratory protection equipment (air purifying respirator);  

 

Five - Eight years of experience: conducting exposure monitoring for air contaminants and noise; conducting indoor environmental quality assessments; ventilation measurement; ability to operate sampling equipment, knowledge of OSHA and ACGIH requirements and guidelines, ability to interpret data results, write technical reports using correct grammar and punctuation, must be willing to travel up to 75% including overnight travel, for periods of time, BA or BS degree (4-year)

Lead Auditor / Auditor AS9100/AS9110 / ISO9001 - United States - Middle East - Europe

Riebdon International Auditors and Lead Auditors perform audits per requirement of the applicable standard and ISO19011. The auditor is responsible to make relevant decisions concerning the audit process. The auditor is responsible to collect and analyze sufficient information to provide a recommendation for certification. Lead Auditors have authority for the control and performance of auditing activities including planning and the control of other members of audit teams.

 

MAIN DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

  • To perform audits in any capacity in conformance with the Riebdon Auditor Handbook and ISO19011.

  • In performing the duties described above, to ensure that such duties are performed in an efficient and commercially expedient way.

  • To control as necessary, teams of auditors during the activities.

  • To decide upon evidence gained during audits whether or not registration should be recommended or allowed to continue.

  • To assist in the training of other auditors and lead auditors during planned audits or during other training functions.

  • To participate actively in witness audits.

  • To maintain all audit credentials.

  • To undertake any other activities as directed by the Technical Product Quality.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be a Registered Auditor

  • Have satisfactorily completed an IRCA approved training course in Quality and auditing. The course(s) must include an examination, which must be passed to evidence satisfactory completion.

  • Have competent working knowledge of nationally recognized Quality auditing standards and procedures.

  • Be academically qualified in both a recognized scientific/technological discipline and in quality assurance.

  • Ability to travel extensively, with a valid drivers license

Deputy Construction Manager - Kabul Afghanistan

The Deputy Construction Managers (DCM) are responsible for the 24/7 supervision of the Design-Build subcontractor and the personnel on the Eggers Renovation Project and reports directly to the Construction Managers and supervises the on-shift QC Managers from the A&E consultant. There will be one DCM per shift, allowing for 24/7 supervision of the Design-Build subcontractor. The DCM is the single point of contact for the Design-Build subcontractor’s on-site project shift manager, with a primary responsibility of holding the Design-Build subcontractor responsible for quality control and adherence to design standards and specifications

Contracting Specialist - Kabul Afghanistan

The Contracting Specialist (CS) is responsible for contract support for all subcontractors in Kabul. He or she will report to the Project Director and is the onsite point of contact for all contractual matters for the Local Contracts Specialist (LCS). He/ she will advise all ECMO-L personnel of acquisition rules and regulations as they apply to the Camp Eggers Renovation Project. He/ she will help to determine any requirements and ensure that they are clearly identified to the ECMO-L for procurement. He or she will assist in the selection of subcontractors and vendors. He/she will administer all awarded subcontracts. This will include negotiating any post award changes and ensuring all proper documentation is completed. The CS will provide to the LCS all necessary information required for potential change orders to Task Order 10. He/she will maintain daily contact with the LCS and Logistics Specialist within the ECMO-L in order to ensure timely action of contract actions.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager - Kabul Afghanistan

The QA/QC Manager ensures that the quality of the site installations is consistent with the company's policy requirements together with national and international standards and the customer’s specifications.He or she is responsible for implementing the Quality Management System on site, coordinating quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and vendors, and coordinating with the client’s representative on all quality matters. He or she will coordinate all receipt inspections, distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors, and verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards. The QA/QC Manager will develop and monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan and coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues, and coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel. Finally, he or she will ensure the safety is adhered to on site IAW Aegis HSSE policy, participate in internal and external site audits, and complete and coordinate the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the client.The QA/QC Manager will have a minimum of 8 years of construction management experience, along with experience with establishing QA / QC planning, and implementation. He should be familiar with operating in High Threat environment, and have experience in working with Host Nation and Third Country National sub-contractors and workforces (Afghanistan preferable).

Safety (EHS) Manager - Kabul Afghanistan

The Safety Manager (SM) develops and implements a comprehensive program for construction safety oversight by serving as the point of contact for monitoring and maintaining compliance with Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) and other applicable safety regulations during construction activities. The SM plans and directs the overall development and administration of safety and accident prevention programs, and directs and oversees safety staff at the construction site.The SM implements the process for reviewing contractor safety performance against applicable laws, regulations, and contract requirements. He/she further develops and enforces policies, procedures, programs, standards, and design criteria affecting construction safety throughout all stages of the construction process. The SM has responsibility for reviewing and approving health and safety plans prepared by construction sub-contractors working on the project.The SM reviews and oversees procedures for investigating construction accidents, including the implementation and maintenance of a standard reporting procedure and implements metrics for tracking and reporting on safety performance issues such as accidents, “near misses,” and lost time events.
